Job description
    To work under supervision of Senior consultant Tech. to assist him carry out his deliverables; in addition, Jr. Consultant is required to:
  • Assist in drafting policies, regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for regulatory and operational activities.
  • Conduct research and provide analytical support for compliance with international frameworks such as WTO-SPS, WOAH, Codex Alimentarius, IPPC, and ISTA.
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of operational manuals and technical SOPs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to enhance processes for the issuance of SPS certificates and other regulatory documents.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to exporters and stakeholders regarding compliance with international standards.
  • Assist in designing, planning, and organizing training and capacity-building programs for NFSAPHRA staff and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support liaison and coordination efforts with provincial governments, industry representatives, and Intl. development Partners to ensure smooth regulatory operations.
  • Prepare technical reports, policy briefs, and progress updates for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Any other related task assigned by Ministry.
