Job description
    To work under supervision of Senior consultant (OD) to assist him carry out his deliverables, in addition, Jr. Consultant is required to:
  • Assist Senior Consultant in drafting initial policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines for NFSAPHRA, ensuring alignment with relevant standards.
  • Assist in coordinating with government agencies, private sector entities, and international partners to gather insights and feedback for the development of frameworks.
  • Support the identification of policy gaps in food safety, animal health, and plant protection and contribute in recommending practical improvements.
  • Provide assistance in preparing initial budgets, operational roadmaps, and resource allocation plans under the direction of the Senior Consultant.
  • Assist in drafting periodic progress updates compiling final reports, summarizing key achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultations and feedback mechanisms to align project goals with national priorities and stakeholder needs.
  • Any other related task assigned by Ministry.
